Blownaway 1967 Nova SS
- Chassis: Roadster Shop – Fast Track Chassis, converted to bolt on frame with urethane bushings (unibody delete). Strange rear differential has been narrowed 4” per side to allow for deep back space wheels and improved stance.
- Drivetrain: GM Performance Connect and Cruise LS3 525 HP with Whipple Air to water cooled Super Charger, 103 MM Throttle Body. Tremic 6 speed transmission. Engine was set back 4” and lowered 2” for balance and hood clearance. AFCO radiator. Rick’s stainless steel fuel tank. Ultimate Headers. 3” stainless steel exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. Electronic cut-outs with push button control. Baer 6 piston 14” rotor brakes, front and rear, Wilwood pedal assembly.
- Bumpers & Trim: All bright work is Bright Nickle Plated, by Ogdon Chrome.
- Wheels & Tires: One off 18 x 8 and 19 x 12 – Curtis Speed Equipment Wheels by Mike Curtis. Michelin Pilot Sport Tires. Front 245x35x18 and Rear 345X30x19.
- Paint: Paint and Body by the talented staff at Ron Jones Garage. Spies Hecker custom color Glacier Ice Blue Pearl paint.
- Interior: Custom metal raised dash and console by Ron Jones Garage. AutoMeter InVision Digital Dash, Kenwood stereo with back up camera screen. Relicate leather upholstery by JJ’s Upholstery. Lexus 6 way front bucket seats and Lexus rear bucket seats, one piece headliner. Ididit steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel. Vintage Air, push button start, window control and exhaust cut-out control.
- Body Modifications: Thousands of hours in subtle body modifications by Ron Jones Garage. Front bumper narrowed, tucked and modified for air intake, front chin spoiler. Two-inch cowl hood with Mercedes Benz hood latches. Custom radiator cover. One-off square pattern aluminum grille with stock grille bars, hidden blinkers. New firewall to trunk floor pan. Flush mount windshield and rear glass (this car was used by Fesler USA to help develop this flush mount series for 62 to 67 Novas). Vent window deleted, stainless steel window trim deleted, modified drip rails, electric door locks, Nu-Relic electric windows. Rear wheel wells stretched 3”to allow for tires and stance, body dropped on frame ¾”, gas filler moved to behind left digital brake light. Custom rear spoiler. One off aluminum two-piece trunk inlay with Blownaway script, by Lead Edge Machine & Design. Rear bumper was narrowed and contoured to match body, backup light deleted. Custom rear air diffuser. Dozens of 3D printed parts, electrical, spacers, etc. One-off 3D printed then molded injector plug covers and throttle body electrical cover.
